[asterisk-biz] Anyone Hiring? Systems Engineer.

Anyone hiring? This seems like a good place to post this. I have no shame. :)

I'm currently working for a certain social mobile networking company. We're utilising Asterisk/OpenSER for our international voice callback product. Looking for a new full time job. Current role is an opeations/engineering split. Doing lots of SIP trunking to various carriers.  I'm in the San Francisco area, although open to relocation to certain areas. Been involved with Asterisk/OpenSER for about 3 years. Important keywords here are Asterisk, OpenSER, Linux(background is in unix admin), MySQL, Nagios, Cacti, python, SIP(lots and lots of SIP), SQL, systems, networking. dCAP certified.

Re: [asterisk-biz] PBX Functionality for Less than the Price of a KeySystem (3Com Asterisk IP Telephony Appliance)

It seems appropriate to me. The only thing missing is a VOIP provider like
Teliax.

Teliax would be more than happy to provide SIP and IAX connectivity for this
slick little bundle.

Sorry but I couldn't resist making a plug.

Re: [asterisk-biz] PBX Functionality for Less than the Price of a KeySystem (3Com Asterisk IP Telephony Appliance)

Ouch is it me or does this seem on the high side for a wholesale bundle (or is this retail and wholesale is 20-30% off dependant on volume).

(please keep in mind I'm consulting on a competing product so my viewpoint may be biased, but for an appliance this seems a little high end or is their something unique about the 3com solution I’m not familiar with?)

Re: [asterisk-biz] New faxing protocol. Good/Bad ?

Dear Dovid,

This is a great Idea, I do not know if there is a seperate protocol for this yet, however I do
know that many use what is called store and forward faxing techniques, and to me yours
sound like the same.

However I think your idea has potential.

I hope u find or do build something and will share with us :)
