This will seem like a strange request but here goes. I am the CTO of
a small telecom service provider that serves a distributed business
only customer base, mostly here in the larger Texas markets. We have
been around for several years and have home grown our voice
infrastructure, mainly using Asterisk, OpenSER and some other Open
Source voice related applications. The network we built is very
robust, reliable and expandable, and as you can imagine is a critical
part of our business now and going forward.
We do have others on staff that can find their way around the
infrastructure and take care of daily operations, but no one other
than myself that could "fix" things quickly in the event of a
catastrophic failure or figure out really strange interop issues
between multi vendor voice systems. So in the event, God forbid,
something happens to me, the business would be in jeopardy. No matter
how good my documentation is [it is pretty good] it will take someone
or a team of folks at a relatively high level of experience and
competence to come in and quickly understand the infrastructure and be
able to effect repairs.
So what I'm looking for is a professional consulting firm with a lot
of Asterisk, OpenSER, Telecom experience who would be able to come in
and help out for a bit until a suitable replacement could be found to
back fill my position in the event I was no longer around.
Some of you may know of me, I've had the privilege of speaking at all
the Astricon conferences on topics relating to Asterisk Clusters in
Carrier Environment, Asterisk Clustering with MySQL Replication, DUNDi
within an Asterisk Cluster, Carrier VoIP and this year will be
discussing Asterisk Virtualization.
Feel free to contact me off-list if you can be of service.
Thanks.
